Emerge gets Results

Since 2007 Emerge Maine has trained 120 women:

  • 14 alumnae won their races in the 2012 cycle, out of 18 who ran in the general election.

Emerge Maine is part of a national movement. Since it's founding in 2005 Emerge America has trained more than 900 women across the country. 43% of National Emerge alumnae have run for office or been appointed to local boards or commissions; of those who have run 60% have won.
