Emerge Maine is the premier training program for Democratic women.

We inspire women to run, we hone their skills to win.

Our goal is clear: to increase the number of Democratic women in public office.

I am fortunate to live and work in a place that I love. My home is Perry, Maine, on the coast of Washington County.
Like many residents of this area, I wear several hats. I work in a family owned business, Guisinger Photography, a full-service photography studio. I also work as Program Coordinator for the international Exploratis (Elderhostel) program and run about 10-12 programs over the course of summer and fall.
Each year, I share the wonders of Washington County with some 200 participants from all over the U.S. I love my work and the creative life force that exists in our communities.
My husband and I have been married over 40 years, we have two grown children, and we have four beautiful grandchildren, two cats and two dogs. We have had a home, which we built (are still building) ourselves over thirty years ago. I may not have been born in Maine, but I was born to be in Maine.
