Emerge Maine, an organization which empowers and trains Democratic women to run for public office is pleased to announce that fourteen of its alumnae and five of its advisory board members won their races for statewide, county and municipal office on Tuesday, November 6th.

2013 Application Opens June 1st

Portland, ME----Emerge Maine, an organization which recruits, trains and inspires Democratic women to seek public office, debuts its first on-line application this week.

The application for the Emerge Class of 2013 will be available at: www .emergemaine .org /training /application on Friday June 1st.

“We’re streamlining our application process this year and offering an on-line application will make it much easier for potential candidates to apply for the program,” says Katie Mae Simpson, executive director of Emerge Maine. “We look forward to meeting and interviewing politically-minded women from around the state of Maine.”
